Barry Smith serves as the Metanoia Prison Ministries’ Regional Director for the Tennessee Valley Presbytery Region. He recruits, trains, and encourages mentors for incarcerated believers at Walker State Prison and Bledsoe County Correctional Complex, writes devotionals and curricula, coordinates instructors and teaches classes for the Seminary-in-Prison at Walker State Prison and Rutledge State Prison. 

Barry and his wife, Gail, have eight children and eight grandchildren. They are members of North Shore Fellowship in Chattanooga where Barry also serves as a Ruling Elder.
